The historical inn at the Mellingburger Lock

The historical Inn at the Mellingburger Lock is a hotel restaurant at one of Hamburg’s most beautiful locations. A house with special charm (built in 1717) has been developed in the last 45 years from a hostelry (originally built in 1717) for operators of horse-drawn boats.

Enjoy the wonderful view of the historical lock sluices whilst enjoying home-baked cakes, or a sophisticated dinner, in our Alster Terrace Restaurant.

In a somewhat more rustic setting is our Sluice Den, where you will find on the menu typical Hamburg dishes for you to discover and re-discover.

The quaint Farmer’s Den, with room for up to 30 guests, is just the place for a convivial evening with family and friends.

We are looking forward to your reservation

The Historiscal Inn in the Mellingburger Lock ist open every day from 12 noon to 10 pm.
